Auto-Mount Disks

If your computer includes multiple internal disks or has any external disks plugged in, only the disk containing the boot volume will be automatically mounted at login.

It can be useful to auto-mount other ones, too. Here’s how to do so:

  1. Launch the System Settings app
  2. In the sidebar list, click “Disks & Cameras”
  3. In the new sidebar list, click “Device Auto-mount”
  4. In the main view, click the checkbox for “On Login” on the row of each disk you want to auto-mount
  5. Click “Apply”
